After payment, we create new portraits for your review. Book generation starts after you approve them. The generation estimate excludes time spent reviewing. You can return to saved progress later.

Unpurchased drafts expire after 48 hours. Inputs needed by open payments, paid portrait review or active generation are kept until approval or release makes them unnecessary, then deleted through retryable cleanup.

No. Your photo is used only to create your child's illustrated character, and neither your photos nor your finished books are used to train AI models, by us or by the AI providers we work with. Your family's story stays your family's story.

If we cannot finish your paid book, including its new character portraits, the full payment is automatically refunded to your original payment method. Temporary failures receive a limited number of automatic retries.

Each new portrait includes two adjustment attempts for this book. Reused portraits stay as they are. Each book includes five image adjustment attempts shared across its cover and pages. Text edits are included. Cover repainting uses the same allowance. A successful adjustment uses an attempt even if you keep the original. Failed attempts are restored. Contact support when no more adjustments are available. Image adjustments are available for 7 days after your book is completed. Something wrong with the book, such as a wrong likeness, a broken image, or a text error? Contact support at any time and we will fix it free.

Digital books come in 16, 20 or 24 pages. Each includes new portraits for up to 6 characters, an illustrated cover and story pages, PDF download, online reading, sharing and text edits. A printed softcover is available as an extra through Peecho, plus shipping and any tax. See current prices in our pricing section. Prices are in USD; any applicable digital tax is added at checkout. You can prepare your characters and story before paying. Personalized portraits and books are generated after payment. To help you decide, the Examples page has complete real books you can read cover to cover. If paid generation fails, the full payment is automatically refunded to the original payment method.
